Lesson Prices
Each course runs for 12 weeks per term. The cost per term varies depending on which class your child is booked onto:
Baby World & Toddler World = £102.00
Turtles & Alligators = £106.50
Marlins, Sharks & Dolphins = £102.00
Payments will automatically be passed to your membership direct debit. If you would prefer it not to payment can be taken at reception using any other method, this payment must be received no later than the first lesson of each course.
Unfortunately we are unable to give refunds for non attendance including sickness or holidays taken during the course.

Swimming Hats
It is a requirement that all children in Turtles through to Dolphins wear a swimming hat. Wearing coloured hats helps us identify each group whilst helping us maintain hygiene in the pool. It also helps to avoid any distractions from hair covering faces whilst in the water.
Each child will be given one hat when they start lessons and each time they move up into the next class. If at any time a swim school hat is lost of torn a replacement can be bought for a charge of £1.00.

Poolside Footwear
We recommend that the use of poolside footwear (for example; flip flops) be worn by all children and/or parents attending lessons.
Please note that parents dropping off their children must wear ‘blue overshoes’ to cover their outdoor shoes when on poolside. These covers are provided in the changing rooms.

Parents on Poolside
Parents are not permitted on poolside during their child’s lesson to avoid disruption and any distractions this may cause the teacher and/or pupils. This is essential in allowing us to maintain our highest standards of teaching.
Once the registers have been taken and your child is safely sat down ready to participate in their lesson, parents should leave the poolside area. When collecting your child at the end of their class we ask you to remain waiting in the corridor until the lesson had completely finished.
On the last week of each term (week 12), we invite you to view your child’s progress. We ask you not to interrupt the lessons or distract the children in any way during this special invitation.

Changing Rooms
Please ensure that when using the changing facilities Children are supervised and well behaved at all times.

Timekeeping
To help us to maintain the smooth running of all our classes please arrive for your lesson before the start time. If you arrive late to your class you may be advised not to join in as disruption is considerable.

Priority Booking
Once you are enrolled onto our courses you will then receive priority booking for all your future courses. If you are booking onto the same class that your child had previously been on you will be able to renew your place at reception from week 10 of the course.
If you wish to move classes whether it be progression into the next group up or a change of day or time then a transfer slip must be completed and put into the swim school post box at reception. Please note that you cannot automatically renew at reception if you are changing classes.

General
This information is intended to answer any questions you may have regarding children’s swimming lessons at Pulse 8. Should you require any further information please contact Tracy Butler on tbutler@nirvanaspa.co.uk

Children’s swimming lessons are 12 week courses, which we run during the school term times, trying to avoid the major school holidays of Easter, summer and Christmas.

The lessons are for ½ hour a week and run on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons and Saturday and Sunday mornings.

We teach children from 16 weeks up to approximately 11 years old depending on their ability.

Once the course has started we won’t take any new enrolments onto the course as this can cause disruption to the teachers and children in that class. We do run a waiting list which new enrolments can join by completing the back page of this booklet. Please note that you will not be contacted until a place has become available.

We follow the STA awards system, with every child being awarded a badge and certificate at the end of the 12 week course.
